QRS July Public Launch

Now that we are catching up in posts, we move on to the July 2010 public launch - the second of three public launches for 2010.

It was a cloudy day at the range, although the blue Queensland sky broke through on occasion with the accompanying rays of sunshine bathing the 400 or so strong crowd.

There were many highlights in the day, Wayne achieving his L2 on a J350 and the first public showing of the biggest rocket built by a QRS member to date "Hercules" built by Dean (not flown yet but it looks very impressive).

 I launched my Callisto on a G76-7G and my Sudden Rush on a J420R.

This launch also saw some of the new Aerotech MetalStorm motors launched.
