QRS July Launch

It was a very cold morning to start the day at the July launch, which seemed to keep the flyers burrowed away early, but as the warmth of the sun started to thaw the launch site out, it had a similar effect on those gathered around with rockets to launch and soon enough the flights were coming off the rails thick and fast!

 

Another set of great flights from a wide variety of rockets with drag racing seeming to be the theme of the day although not many saw both rockets in the race actually leave the pads as expected.  You can see photos of some of the flights below and in the Ausrockets photo gallery. 

  

Personally I had one flight of my PML Mystic on a G53, it however, landed hard and broke a fin which will require some repairs before it will fly again.
